Representative Porter moved and asked unanimous consent that the               
House move down the calendar to:                                               
                                                                               
HOUSE CS FOR CS FOR SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO.                               
35(FIN)                                                                        
Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the State of Alaska             
relating to participation in an abortion.

The Speaker stated the call was satisfied.                                     
                                                                               
Representative Berkowitz withdrew the objection.  There being no               
further objection, HCS CSSJR 35(FIN), which was advanced to third              
reading from the May 10, 1998 calendar (page 3735), was read the               
third time.                                                                    
                                                                               
                                                                               
The question being:  "Shall HCS CSSJR 35(FIN) pass the House?"

Representative Vezey gave notice of reconsideration of his vote on             
HCS CSSJR 35(FIN)(fld H).                                                      
                                                                               
                                                                               
The Speaker stated that, without objection, the House would recess             
until 7:00 p.m.; and so, the House recessed at 6:26 p.m.
